What are your operating hours?

​We are open 7 days a week from 8:00 AM to 7:00 PM during the season.

When is your season open?

Our typical season runs from May 1 through October 1, depending on weather and lake conditions.

1. We operate out of Cypress Resort & Marine on the Chain O' Lakes in northern Illinois: 25635 W Hermann Ave, Antioch, IL 60002
2. Chicago tours launch from Diversey Harbor: 2601 N Cannon Dr, Chicago, IL 60614

How do I book?

All reservations can be made online. For last-minute bookings or special requests, please call us directly.

How far in advance should I book?

We recommend booking as early as possible, especially for weekends.

1. Chain O’ Lakes rentals/tours: typically 2-3 hours minimum advance notice
2. Chicago tours: 1 week advance booking required

Do I need to pay in advance?

​Yes. Payment is required before going out on the water.

What payment methods do you accept?

Can our group split payment?

Yes. Please call us in advance to arrange split payments.

Is there a security deposit?

Arrival & Check-In

How early should I arrive?

1. Jet Ski Tours: 45 minutes early
2. Jet Ski Rentals: 30 minutes early
3. Pontoon Rentals: 1 hour early
4. Chicago Tours: 1 hour early

What happens if I arrive late?

Late arrivals may have time deducted from the rental or tour.

Is parking available?

Yes.

1. Chain O’ Lakes location: $10 per vehicle
   
2. Chicago (Diversey Harbor): $15 per vehicle
   

Weather & Cancellations

What happens if the weather is bad?

Safety comes first. If conditions are unsafe, we may cancel or reschedule your reservation.

Do tours run in the rain?

Light rain may still allow tours to operate. Moderate or consistent rain may result in a rain check.

Who decides if the weather is unsafe?

Our team monitors conditions and makes the final safety decision

Will I be notified if weather impacts my reservation?

Yes. We will contact you directly as soon as possible.

What is your cancellation policy?

Policies vary by service. Please check the individual service page for more information.

General Jet Ski Tours / Rentals

• Full refund or credit with 24 hours notice.

Pontoon Rentals

• Cancellations must be made 72 hours (3 days) in advance.

What if I cancel after the deadline?

• Pontoon reservations canceled within 72 hours receive a 1-year rain check valid for up to 365 days.

What if I do not show up?

No-shows may be charged the full reservation amount.

Can I reschedule?

Yes. Please call at least 24 hours in advance.

Waivers & Safety

Do I need to sign anything?

​Yes. All participants must sign a liability waiver before departure.

Will I be filmed for social media?

You may be asked to consent to photo/video content during check-in.

Are life jackets provided?

​Yes. Life jackets are included in all sizes.

Do you provide instruction?

​Yes. Every rental and tour includes safety instructions and operation guidance before departure.

Do I need experience?

No experience is required for Chain O’ Lakes rentals and tours.

Is the Chicago tour beginner friendly?

​No. The Chicago tour is more advanced due to waves and open water conditions. Riders should be strong swimmers and physically fit.
